Seatown FC

Seatown FC was one of two clubs from the Republic of Ireland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Seatown FC, 187 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Seatown FC could be found in Group 19 together with Vake-WIT, Skiljebo SK and Utbynäs SK. Seatown FC made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Stryn TIL with 0-1. Thereby Seatown FC finished second in B16 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2018. Seatown FC comes from Dundalk which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
