Rödeby AIF

Rödeby AIF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Rödeby AIF, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Rödeby AIF could be found in Group 7 together with Viggbyholms IK FF, PLAYR Academy and Villa Park. Rödeby AIF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against CD Inter Vista Alegre with 0-4. In the Final, Ryerson SC West won over PLAYR Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Rödeby AIF comes from Rödeby which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Rödeby does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Torsås GoIF - TUFF and FK Karlskrona).
