Katrineholms AIK

Katrineholms AIK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Katrineholms AIK, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Katrineholms AIK could be found in Group 2 together with Keflavik 3, Lizzy Football Club and Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs. Katrineholms AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against TSV Buchholz 08 1 with 1-2. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Katrineholms AIK comes from Katrineholm which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Katrineholm does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Triangelns IK and Värmbols FC).
