Liga 96

Liga 96 was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Liga 96, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Liga 96 could be found in Group 26 together with Kulladals FF 2, SC Nienstedten and Salam Zgharta Club. Liga 96 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 26. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Hong Kong FC with 2-5. In the Final, AP Top 54 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Liga 96 comes from Löderup which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Löderup does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Öja FF, Ystads IF FF and Trelleborgs FF).
