United FC

United FC was one of 44 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to United FC, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof United FC could be found in Group 11 together with Nittorps IK, Vendelsö IK and Ope IF. United FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC Djursholm with 1-3. In the Final, Kungsbacka DFF won over FC Djursholm and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. United FC comes from Pontiac which lies approximately 6400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than United FC, the club Coerver Michigan Performance Academy does also originate from the area around Pontiac.
