Ottawa Internationals

Ottawa Internationals was one of 7 clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Ottawa Internationals, 90 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Ottawa Internationals could be found in Group 1 together with Västerås IK, Älvsjö AIK FF 1, IFK Strömsund and Vallens IF. Ottawa Internationals continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Knivsta IK with 1-3. In the Final, FC Hessleholm won over Onsala BK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Ottawa Internationals comes from Ottawa which lies approximately 5900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
