Järla IF

Järla IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Järla IF, 117 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Järla IF could be found in Group 8 together with Växjö DFF, BK Farum/FCN and IF VP/UIF. Järla IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vinslövs IF with 1-2. In the Final, Glumslövs FF won over Vinslövs IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Järla IF also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in G14 Play off A, but lost it against Bollstanäs SK with 5-6. Järla comes from Nacka which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nacka does also provide 53 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Ingarö IF, Saltsjöbadens IF, IF Brommapojkarna, Sickla IF, Sörskogens IF, Älta IF, Hanvikens SK, IFK Haninge, Kungsängens IF and BK Sport Mix).
