IFK Mariehamn

IFK Mariehamn was one of three clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to IFK Mariehamn, 137 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof IFK Mariehamn could be found in Group 6 together with Lizzy Football Club, CD Inter Vista Alegre and Nyköpings BIS 1. IFK Mariehamn continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against MTV Treubund Lüneburg with 0-6. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over IFK Lidingö 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. IFK Mariehamn comes from Mariehamn which lies approximately 830 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
