Råsunda IS

Råsunda IS was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Råsunda IS, 168 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Råsunda IS could be found in Group 27 together with VFL Jheringefehn, Football Academy of Jerusalem and IF Växbo. Råsunda IS continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Helios with 1-3. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over Mountain FC 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. Råsunda IS comes from Solna which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 57 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Ingarö IF, Saltsjöbadens IF, Storvreta IK, IF Brommapojkarna, Sickla IF, Sörskogens IF, Älta IF, Hanvikens SK, IFK Haninge and Kungsängens IF).
