Edsbyns IF/FF

Edsbyns IF/FF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Edsbyns IF/FF, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Edsbyns IF/FF could be found in Group 36 together with IK Sirius FK, Leiknir and FK Gjøvik-Lyn 2. Edsbyns IF/FF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 36. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IK Brage with 2-4. In the Final, Ryerson SC West won over PLAYR Academy and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Edsbyns IF/FF comes from Edsbyn which lies approximately 460 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Edsbyn does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (IF Växbo and Bollnäs GIF).
