Norrala IF

Norrala IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Norrala IF, 97 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Norrala IF could be found in Group 2 together with Tiller 2, AIK FF and CCL Soccer Club. Norrala IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Scandia United SA with 0-6. In the Final, Dösjöbro/Vellinge won over Stord Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Norrala comes from Söderhamn which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Söderhamn does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (IF Växbo, Kilafors IF and Stugsunds IK).
