Team Södermöre

Team Södermöre was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Team Södermöre, 117 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Team Södermöre could be found in Group 21 together with Notvikens Ik/ Luleå SK, Abu Dhabi Thistle FC and Borens IK. Team Södermöre continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Team Hudik with 0-2. In the Final, Glumslövs FF won over Vinslövs IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Team Södermöre comes from Ljungbyholm which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ljungbyholm does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Möre BK, Torsås GoIF - TUFF, Färjestadens GoIF and Kalmar FF).
