Kungsängens IF

Kungsängens IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Kungsängens IF, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Kungsängens IF could be found in Group 3 together with Lizzy Football Club, Örgryte IS and JSG Mitte NF 1. Kungsängens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Viksjö 1 with 3-4. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Windsor FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Kungsängens comes from Kungsängen which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungsängen does also provide 56 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Sunnersta AIF, Storvreta IK, IF Brommapojkarna, Sickla IF, Sörskogens IF, Älta IF, BK Sport Mix, FK Bromma, Hammarby IF FF and Stuvsta IF).
