Ljungby IF

Ljungby IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Ljungby IF, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Ljungby IF could be found in Group 33 together with Roanoke Star, Specifique FA Tunisia, MSSK and Näsets SK. Ljungby IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 33. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Mariestads BK with 1-4. In the Final, AP Top 54 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Ljungby comes from Ljungby which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ljungby does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Älmhults IF and Värnamo Södra FF).
