Frövi IK

Frövi IK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Frövi IK, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Frövi IK could be found in Group 10 together with FC International Leipzig e.V., F.C. Martignas Illac and Bærums Verk Hauger IF. Frövi IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Stryn TIL with 1-3. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Frövi comes from Frövi which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Frövi does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Adolfsbergs IK, BK Forward, Örebro SK Söder, Latorps IF, Karlslunds IF HFK, Örebro SK, Arboga Södra IF, Mariebergs IK, Köping FF and IFK Lindesberg/GSBK).
