Tärnsjö IF / Östervåla IF

Tärnsjö IF / Östervåla IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Tärnsjö IF / Östervåla IF, 117 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Tärnsjö IF / Östervåla IF could be found in Group 5 together with Tranås FF, FC Staffanstorp and Bærums Verk Hauger IF. Tärnsjö IF / Östervåla IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lira BK with 0-6. In the Final, Glumslövs FF won over Vinslövs IF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Tärnsjö / Östervåla comes from Östervåla which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Östervåla does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Bälinge IF and SK Iron).
