In addition to FC Djursholm, 97 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof FC Djursholm could be found in Group 16 together with Sandåkerns SK, ATSV Scharmbeckstotel and Mölnlycke IF. FC Djursholm continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Team Viborg with 0-3. In the Final, Tiller 1 won over Valur and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. FC Djursholm also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the final in Play off A, but lost it against Team Odense Q with 0-1 and ended up in second place.
