Orix Academy

Orix Academy was one of 7 clubs from Canada that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Orix Academy, 148 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Orix Academy could be found in Group 25 together with Forssa BK, JSG Kawu and Lerums IS. Orix Academy continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Fløy with 0-1. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Windsor FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Orix Academy comes from Vancouver, British Columbia which lies approximately 7400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
