Broby IF

Broby IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to Broby IF, 46 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Broby IF could be found in Group 1 together with Chelsea SC LA, SKF China and Boo FF. Broby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sävedalens IF with 0-2. In the Final, Fortuna FF won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. Broby comes from Broby which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Broby does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IFK Osby, Kristianstad FC, Älmhults IF, Lönsboda GoIF, IFK Knislinge, Vinslövs IF, IFK Hässleholm, Markaryds IF, Kristianstad United FS and Kristianstads DFF).
