Förslövs IF

Förslövs IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Förslövs IF, 168 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof Förslövs IF could be found in Group 5 together with Randburg Football Club 1, Tataouine and AIK FF Gul 1. Förslövs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Markaryds IF with 0-1. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over Upsala IF 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. Förslövs comes from Förslöv which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Förslöv does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Hittarps IK, IS Halmia, Ängelholms FF, Klippans FF, Munka-Ljungby IF, Eskilsminne IF, Helsingborgs IF, Kullavägens BK, Brunnby FF and Högaborgs BK).
