Sickla IF

Sickla IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Sickla IF, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Sickla IF could be found in Group 15 together with Prep Schools District Blue, Samaya FA, Sandsbro AIK and Kareby/Kode. Sickla IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hovås-Billdal IF with 1-2. In the Final, S. Lanzarote won over Sangre Chilena FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Sickla comes from Nacka which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nacka does also provide 53 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Ingarö IF, Saltsjöbadens IF, IF Brommapojkarna, Sörskogens IF, Älta IF, Hanvikens SK, IFK Haninge, Kungsängens IF, BK Sport Mix and FK Bromma).
