Gardia Club

Gardia Club was one of 20 clubs from France that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Gardia Club, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Gardia Club could be found in Group 35 together with South Dartmoor CC, Hovås-Billdal IF and Moss FK 2. Gardia Club continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lindome GIF with 0-3. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Gardia comes from La Garde which lies approximately 1700 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
