Welland Juniors

Welland Juniors was one of 35 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Welland Juniors, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Welland Juniors could be found in Group 21 together with Stars'n Stripes Red, Ludvika FK and Öckerö IF. Welland Juniors continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Entente Osten Luxembourg with 3-5. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Windsor FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Welland Juniors also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/32 Final in B18 Play off B, but lost it against IK Franke with 1-3. Welland Juniors comes from worcestershire which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
