Stala IF

Stala IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Stala IF, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Stala IF could be found in Group 13 together with IFK Örby, Belgica and Royal football team. Stala IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Stars'n Stripes Blue with 4-6. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Stala comes from Varekil which lies approximately 47 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Varekil does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Kareby/Kode, Ytterby IS, Vallens IF, Skepplanda BTK, Stenungsunds IF, Orust Fotboll, Kode IF, Groheds IF/Ljungskile SK, Älvängens IK and Nol IK).
