AYSO United

AYSO United was one of 44 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 12. In addition to AYSO United, 46 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 12. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof AYSO United could be found in Group 10 together with Jarlabergs IF, Onsala BK 1 and Guldhedens IK. AYSO United continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna 1 with 2-3. In the Final, Fortuna FF won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 12. AYSO United comes from Knoxville which lies approximately 7000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
