VfL Westercelle

VfL Westercelle was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to VfL Westercelle, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof VfL Westercelle could be found in Group 29 together with Älvsborg FF, Aalborg Chang and Redlands AYSO. They reached the 1/32 Final in B15 Play off A, but lost it against IFK Umeå with 3-5. Westercelle comes from Celle which lies approximately 580 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
