Dainfern

Dainfern was one of 11 clubs from South Africa that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Dainfern, 101 other teams from 25 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 25 different groups, whereof Dainfern could be found in Group 5 together with V. Frölunda IF 1, Villa Park and FC Saint Brice. Dainfern comes from Johannesburg which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Johannesburg does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Football Academy Plus, Prestige Football Academy, Randburg Football Club, Football Experience and University of Pretoria FC).
