Hörby FF

Hörby FF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Hörby FF, 195 other teams from 36 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Hörby FF could be found in Group 4 together with Leiknir 2, CEF 18 Tucuman and Azalea BK. Hörby FF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FC Bangkok with 0-1. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over SKF Bulgaria and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Hörby comes from Hörby which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hörby does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Kristianstad FC, Trollenäs IF, Vinslövs IF, IFK Hässleholm, Kristianstad United FS, Kristianstads DFF, Höörs IS, FC Hessleholm, Furulunds IK and FC Staffanstorp).
