Iggesunds IK

Iggesunds IK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Iggesunds IK, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Iggesunds IK could be found in Group 21 together with JFV Aller-Weser, E.C. Pinheiros and IFK Knislinge. Iggesunds IK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 21. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Oppsal IF 1 with 1-6. In the Final, AP Top 54 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Iggesunds comes from Iggesund which lies approximately 520 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Iggesund does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (IF Team Hudik and Strands IF).
