In addition to the two IFK Stocksund teams, 167 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof IFK Stocksund 2 could be found in Group 25 together with Chelsea SC LA, Elite Football FC White, Sävedalens IF 1 and Champs. IFK Stocksund 2 continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Intercups MX with 1-3. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over Mountain FC 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. IFK Stocksund also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/32 Final in B11 Play off A, but lost it against Nacka FC with 3-6.
