In addition to the two IFK Stocksund teams, 167 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof IFK Stocksund 1 could be found in Group 18 together with FC Connecticut, Prep Schools Lions Grey and Azalea BK 2. IFK Stocksund 1 continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AIK FF Gul 2 with 2-5. In the Final, Lizzy Football Club won over Mountain FC 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 12. IFK Stocksund also participated in Boys 11 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/32 Final in B11 Play off A, but lost it against Nacka FC with 3-6.
