Storfors AIK

Storfors AIK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Storfors AIK, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Storfors AIK could be found in Group 8 together with SSC Hagen Ahrensburg, Rotebro IS FF and FC Ajax - Tallinn. Storfors AIK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against MSSK with 0-2. In the Final, FC Chambly won over Glumslövs FF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Storfors AIK comes from Piteå which lies approximately 980 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (FC Norrsken, Munksund/Skuthamn SK, Öjeby IF, MSSK, Piteå IF and Piteå IF DFF).
