Munksund/Skuthamn SK

Munksund/Skuthamn SK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Munksund/Skuthamn SK, 117 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Munksund/Skuthamn SK could be found in Group 13 together with Skiljebo SK, Nordhordland BK 1 and Eskilsminne IF. Munksund/Skuthamn SK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against NYCSL Select with 1-4. In the Final, Hammarby IF FF won over Lerums IS and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Munksund/Skuthamn SK also participated in Girls 14 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/16 Final in G14 Play off A, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 0-2. Munksund/Skuthamn SK comes from Piteå which lies approximately 980 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (FC Norrsken, Storfors AIK, Öjeby IF, MSSK, Piteå IF and Piteå IF DFF).
