JSG Kawu

JSG Kawu was one of 58 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to JSG Kawu, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof JSG Kawu could be found in Group 25 together with Orix Academy, Forssa BK and Lerums IS. JSG Kawu continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against NorCal Premier PDP with 0-1. In the Final, NorCal Premier PDP won over Windsor FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Kawu comes from Unterstedt which lies approximately 540 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Unterstedt does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Blumenthaler SV, TSV Uesen, Soltau, MTV, JFV Aller-Weser, JSG Baden/Etelsen, JFV Verden/Brunsbrock and TuS Schwachhausen).
