Västerviks FF

Västerviks FF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Västerviks FF, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Västerviks FF could be found in Group 17 together with Nordhordland BK 1, Intercups MX and Kiruna FF. Västerviks FF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against AYSES with 0-6. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Västerviks comes from Västervik which lies approximately 280 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västervik does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (IFK Västervik and Tjust IF FF).
