Eton College

Eton College was one of 35 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Eton College, 187 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 46 different groups, whereof Eton College could be found in Group 11 together with Hovås-Billdal IF, Bangalore Soccer Academy and AFC Eskilstuna. Eton College continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Spårvägens FF with 0-2. In the Final, Stryn TIL won over Seatown FC and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Eton College comes from Windsor which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Windsor does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Carpe Diem FC, Josh Evans Soccer School, Phoenix Football Academy, Islington Borough Ladies Football Club, Most Wanted Elite, St Joseph's Youth 88 FC, RC Lens London, Windsor FC, Regents Park FC and The Kusasa Stars).
