Boxholms IF

Boxholms IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Boxholms IF, 97 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Boxholms IF could be found in Group 14 together with Oppsal IF, GP de Tavene and Djurgården IF FF. Boxholms IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against BK Astrio with 1-5. In the Final, Tiller 1 won over Valur and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Boxholms comes from Boxholm which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Boxholm does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Mantorps FF, Stångebro United, Mjölby AI/FF and Tranås FF).
