Linghem/Örtomta

Linghem/Örtomta was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Linghem/Örtomta, 97 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Linghem/Örtomta could be found in Group 20 together with Rush Soccer USA, Kilafors IF and Halvorstorps IS/Trollhättans FK. Linghem/Örtomta continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against ATSV Scharmbeckstotel with 1-3. In the Final, Dösjöbro/Vellinge won over Stord Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Linghem/Örtomta comes from Linghem which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linghem does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Mantorps FF, Svärtinge SK, Åtvidabergs FF, Stångebro United, Borensbergs IF/FK, Smedby AIS, Linköping Kenty DFF, Lindö FF Norrköping, IFK Norrköping and Mariestads BK).
