Stenungsunds IF

Stenungsunds IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Stenungsunds IF, 137 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Stenungsunds IF could be found in Group 1 together with Altona 93 1, ACBB Paris and Ängelholms FF 1. Stenungsunds IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Prep Schools Lions Red with 0-3. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over IFK Lidingö 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. Stenungsunds comes from Stenungsund which lies approximately 35 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stenungsund does also provide 33 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Kareby/Kode, Ytterby IS, Lekstorps IF, Kärra KIF, Qviding FIF, Vallens IF, KF Velebit, Torslanda IK and Göteborgs DFF).
