Windsor FC

Windsor FC was one of 35 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Windsor FC, 148 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Windsor FC could be found in Group 33 together with Sandvikens AIK, V. Frölunda IF and FCSR Haguenau. Windsor FC made it to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 33. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against NorCal Premier PDP with 0-2. Thereby Windsor FC finished second in B18 Play off B during Gothia Cup 2018. Windsor FC comes from Windsor which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Windsor does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Eton College, Carpe Diem FC, Josh Evans Soccer School, Phoenix Football Academy, Islington Borough Ladies Football Club, Most Wanted Elite, St Joseph's Youth 88 FC, RC Lens London, Regents Park FC and The Kusasa Stars).
