Sorrento Football Club

Sorrento Football Club was one of two clubs from Australia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sorrento Football Club, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Sorrento Football Club could be found in Group 23 together with Nordhordland BK 1, Glumslövs FF and SKF UK. Sorrento Football Club continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Guernsey Schools with 0-5. In the Final, AP Top 54 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Sorrento Football comes from Perth which lies approximately 14000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Sorrento Football Club, the club Subiaco Junior Soccer Club does also originate from the area around Perth.
