UF Comércio e Indústria

UF Comércio e Indústria was one of 8 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to UF Comércio e Indústria, 137 other teams from 25 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof UF Comércio e Indústria could be found in Group 16 together with Prep Schools Lions Red, IF Brommapojkarna Svart and Älvsborg FF. UF Comércio e Indústria continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Oppsal IF with 0-3. In the Final, IF Brommapojkarna won over Dallas Texans Soccer Club and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. UF Comércio e Indústria comes from Setúbal which lies approximately 2600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Setúbal does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Charneca de Caparica Futebol Clube, AF Alcoitão, Benfica and AFD Torre).
