V. Ingelstad IS

V. Ingelstad IS was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to V. Ingelstad IS, 168 other teams from 35 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof V. Ingelstad IS could be found in Group 30 together with Oghab FC, JSSL Singapore 1, IK Sirius FK 2 and Hisingsbacka FC. V. Ingelstad IS continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Hanoi Football Club with 1-3. In the Final, Phoenix Football Academy won over Upsala IF 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 12. V. Ingelstad IS comes from Västra Ingelstad which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västra Ingelstad does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Husie IF, LB07, Hyllie IK, IF Lödde, Bjärreds IF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, Uppåkra IF, IFK Klagshamn, Vellinge FF and FC Rosengård).
