Öjeby IF

Öjeby IF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Öjeby IF, 195 other teams from 39 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 48 different groups, whereof Öjeby IF could be found in Group 24 together with Nordhordland BK 2, Xghajra Tornados FC and Kona Crush. Öjeby IF continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 24. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Ordin FC with 0-8. In the Final, AP Top 54 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Öjeby comes from Piteå which lies approximately 980 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Piteå does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (FC Norrsken, Storfors AIK, Munksund/Skuthamn SK, MSSK, Piteå IF and Piteå IF DFF).
