Göteborgs FF

Göteborgs FF was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Göteborgs FF, 97 other teams from 13 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 24 different groups, whereof Göteborgs FF could be found in Group 4 together with Tiller 1, SKF Ghana and Linköping Kenty DFF 2. Göteborgs FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Sunderby SK with 1-2. In the Final, Dösjöbro/Vellinge won over Stord Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Göteborgs originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around göteborg does also provide 73 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Kareby/Kode, Kållered SK, Askims IK, Onsala BK, Bollebygds IF, Ytterby IS, Lunden-Överås BK, Särö IK and V. Frölunda IF).
