Skepplanda BTK

Skepplanda BTK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Skepplanda BTK, 90 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Skepplanda BTK could be found in Group 14 together with Hanvikens SK 1, Färjestadens GoIF and Sandvikens IF 2. Skepplanda BTK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against BK Häcken with 9-10. In the Final, Nacka FC won over San Francisco Aftershocks and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. Skepplanda BTK comes from Skepplanda which lies approximately 29 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skepplanda does also provide 61 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Alingsås IF, Kareby/Kode, Ytterby IS, Lunden-Överås BK, V. Frölunda IF, Jitex Mölndal BK, Lekstorps IF, Solängens BK and Kärra KIF).
