KF Velebit

KF Velebit was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to KF Velebit, 137 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof KF Velebit could be found in Group 12 together with Heggedal IL, Prep Schools Lions Green and Altona 93 2. KF Velebit continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Regents Park FC with 0-1. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over IFK Lidingö 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 13. KF Velebit originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 73 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Kareby/Kode, Kållered SK, Askims IK, Onsala BK, Ytterby IS, Lunden-Överås BK, Särö IK, V. Frölunda IF and Tölö IF).
