Surahammars FK

Surahammars FK was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Surahammars FK, 40 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Surahammars FK could be found in Group 8 together with Ingarö IF, FH and NYCSL Select. Surahammars FK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Vaksala SK with 1-3. In the Final, Global Premier Soccer FC Bayern won over Del Mar Sharks and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Surahammars FK comes from Surahammar which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Surahammar does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: Barkarö SK, Irsta IF, Västerås IK, Hällbybrunns IF, Västerås SK Fotboll, Västerås SK Ungdom, Gideonsbergs IF, Skiljebo SK, IFK Västerås FK and Köping FF).
