IFK Fjärås

IFK Fjärås was one of 427 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2018. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to IFK Fjärås, 68 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 17 different groups, whereof IFK Fjärås could be found in Group 16 together with IF Brommapojkarna, IL Runar and Lindö FF Norrköping. IFK Fjärås continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC Wacker Innsbruck with 0-6. In the Final, Kristianstads DFF won over Medkila IL and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 18. IFK Fjärås comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 30 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide 69 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2018 (Among others: IK Zenith, Kållered SK, Askims IK, Onsala BK, Bollebygds IF, Lunden-Överås BK, Särö IK, V. Frölunda IF, Tölö IF and Jitex Mölndal BK).
