They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Lerums IS could be found in Group 25 together with Orix Academy, Forssa BK and JSG Kawu. Lerums IS continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Myresjö/Vetlanda FK with 0-2. In the Final, Örgryte IS won over V. Frölunda IF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. Lerums IS also participated in Boys 18 during Gothia Cup 2017. They reached the 1/4 Final in B18 Play off A, but lost it against GAIS with 3-4.
